Flynn, as Runner-up QLD champion in the 100 and 200m Breaststroke short course State Championships, and a Bronze medalist in the 400m Individual medley 2017, will be competing in the Long Course Qld State Champs in Brisbane in December, and again in the 2018 Australian Age Championships in April in Sydney where he will be contesting the 100 and 200m Breaststroke and the 200 and 400 Individual Medley events.

Sponsored by Zealous Swimwear as a promotional athlete, he trains with his fellow TAS Swimming club members 9 sessions/week at approx 6km/session. That’s an average of 54km/week in the water!
His coach Mr Duncan Todd competed in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games in the Butterfly events. His coaching career is extensive having been involved with swimmers such as Stephanie Rice, Mitch Larkin, Park Tae-Hwan and many more.
